Triple Offset Butterfly Valve is a new generation valve series that has wide applications such as power generation, petroleum and chemical, refinery and water treatment. This patented design features lightweight, cost-effective and low-torque.
This valve product is comprised of valve body, disc, stem and seal ring. It offers various actuation options including electrical, manual, pneumatic and control apparatus.
The triple offset frictionless design is achieved in three stages. This drawing shows that the first offset point “a” is between the shaft center line and the disc sealing plane, allowing increased sealing strength between disc and seat.
The second offset point “b” is between the stem shaft rotation axis and the center of bore, removing contact between sea and seal ring through most of disc travel.
The third offset point “C” is an angular offset of the conical seating surface to eliminate friction during closing and opening of disc.
This state-of-the-art design ensures zero leakage, immediate closing and opening and frictionless closure, thus replacing traditional Gate, Globe and Ball valves.
Compared to concentric butterfly valve, the innovation and development of our Triple Offset Butterfly Valve solves the problem of short service life due to sealing wear, large torque and inefficient performance. Compared to double eccentric butterfly valve, Our Triple Offset Butterfly Valve improves sealing through complete separation of disc from seal.
In order to achieve complete bi-directional seal, we optimize triple offset parameters through desktop analysis and precision. This improves hardness of body, disc and shaft, reduces spring deformation, increases seat interference, enhances seat ring strength, and raises dimension tolerance.
